All purps scribble and opal gazer

Inside an opal or opal cluster floats in a cloud of crushed opal. Behind the opal are scribbles done in peacock, hyacinth, and uv reactive illuminati and swathes of various shades of purple laid over lotus. The purples are made by layering gold ruby in front of cobalts with different saturations. I used cobalt lite, light cobalt, and brilliant blue for the cobalts.

On the outside there are hand layered purples and scribbles to match the inside and it’s all encased in a layer of crushed opal.

This colorway takes a couple extra fairly thick layers of color compared to some of my other schemes. As such they tended to turn out fairly large no matter how small of a core I started with. So I just leaned in to it and made most of them with clusters or big old 6mm spheres.
